Meetings

The Berkeley Burial Committee meet around 4 times per year, unless there is something that needs to be discussed urgently, in which case an EGM (Extra General Meeting) would be called. The public are very welcome to attend each meeting, though if you would like to address the committee, it must be requested in advance of the meeting to the Clerk, and some time will be put aside at the beginning of the meeting.

Once the public speaking portion of the meeting has ended and the Chair continues with the agenda items, only the committee members are permitted to speak officially. It all sounds rather formal, but the reality of a Burial Committee meeting is that it is very friendly and efficient.
